5th Elite Oxbridge China Circuit
Cheryl was one of 10 Oxbridge students awarded a scholarship place by the Association of Education & Technology to visit Beijing, China for a week long cultural exchange trip. During the visit Cheryl spoke to an audience of Chinese dignitaries and government education officials about her research work in Cambridge on the Education Leadership MPhil course. Together with the other Oxbridge scholars Cheryl was introduced to some of the leading education institutions in Beijing and shared her experience of being a Cambridge student whilst also learning about various progressive education pathways in China for school children.

Keynote Speaker - Advance HE
Cheryl was Keynote Speaker at Advance HE national conference on inclusive curriculum design. Her work in designing a progressive technology enhanced curriculum for engineering at The Engineering & Design Institute in London (TEDI-London) demonstrates her educational leadership approach to ensure STEM learning is accessible, engaging and appropriate for learners beyond the traditional engineering student profile catered for by the majority of HE institutions.
